Dave & Busters Noon Year’s Eve Celebration
Celebrating with kids? If your crew can’t stay up until midnight, celebrate at noon at Dave & Busters! This family-friendly celebration takes place from 9:30 a.m. until noon and features a breakfast buffet, unlimited game play and a ginger ale toast at noon.
Annual Rocknoceros New Year’s Eve Party at Jammin’ Java
Local kids’ band Rocknoceros will ring in 2019 with an evening of music at Jammin’ Java. Shows are at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. and feature an apple juice toast.
Fairfax Four Miler
If you prefer to celebrate New Year’s Eve in a healthy, active way, sign up for the four-mile race through Old Town Fairfax. The run starts at 6 p.m. and costs $43, which includes a post-race pizza party and a commemorative sweatshirt.
Falls Church Watch Night
For a more traditional New Year’s Eve celebration, head to Falls Church for their annual countdown to midnight. The party takes place starting at 7 p.m. and features bands, musicians, karaoke, kids crafts and activities, fire pits and much more. Admission and parking are free!
First Night Alexandria
This non-alcohol event is perfect for families or anyone looking for some good old-fashioned fun on New Year’s Eve. The event starts at 1 p.m. and goes until midnight, with 100 performances taking place at 18 indoor venues throughout Alexandria. You’ll enjoy kid-friendly events all day long, with a final fireworks performance over the water at midnight.
